Effective May 5, 2020, the Club is implementing the following guidelines with respect to cleaning and sanitizing what we touch as it relates to using the building, bathroom and equipment to help ensure the health and welfare of everyone:
1) Do not come to the club if you have either been in contact with anyone having COVID- 19 or you are experiencing any symptoms such as fever, coughing or shortness of breath or just plain do not feel well.
2)Wash your hands prior to entering the boathouse. Bring your own hand-sanitizer since it is still scarce.
3)Maintain a 6 foot distance from other members at all times.
4)There should never be more than 10 people in the boathouse at one time and if so, you should wait in your car until another member has either launched or left the boathouse.
5)Maintain the 6 foot distance from other members as best you can while on the dock launching or landing.
6)If you use club boats, slings and/or oars, completely wash them with soapy water when finished. Do not dry them off, but rather put them away thus handling them while the solution is still wet. Please supply your own towels and sponges to wash the equipment and take them home with you for laundering.
7)Team boats will be limited to family members only.
8) Wash or sanitize your hands again after your row.
9)Clean any bathroom surfaces you come in contact with such as faucets, door handles, light switches and toilet.
10)Finally, before you leave the premises and after you have locked up the boathouse, wipe down the lock.
We are cognizant of the time constraints all of us have, but unfortunately, there is no easy way to go about this while trying to keep you and your families safe. It is our hope and belief that as the season progresses, some or most of these requirements can be eased.
